More about me!

Hey there!

I’m glad you decided to investigate further! I fell in love with performing at age 12, when I was featured in Princess Who, a one-act play about a princess with amnesia who wanders around meeting beloved fairytale characters. I starred as Gretel (of Hansel and Gretel), and of course, the Fairy Godmother herself. A year later, I was cast as a dancing waitress and townsperson in Hello, Dolly! and discovered a love for Musical Theatre. My first voice teacher, Kristin Titus, became a mentor to me as I grew into my passion. She was a huge inspiration for me, and I developed a deep love for singing. There is not a bad day that can’t be turned around by a voice lesson! This adoration quickly grew to include acting and dancing.

For me, theatre is about connection. Connection with ourselves and especially others. I think it is extremely easy in contemporary theatre to be too self-indulgent. Too “me-centered.” Theatre is about creating a safe space for the audience to go on an emotional journey. A space for authenticity and support, creativity and play!
